Round birds, M.O.T.s and hospital visits

08 March 2003 - 11:26 a.m.

The birds are very fat indeed.

My mother has been feeding them since the summer, and they all look like flying fat balls.

Even the pheasants visiting the garden are overweight.

One of the cats has taken this on board, and will happily sit inside the table, waiting for something to appear.

Unfortunately for him, the birds can see the mass of ginger from miles away.

My sister's car failed the M.O.T. earlier. The back tyres we expected, but apparantly there are holes in the floor which desperately need welding, along with a few other major repairs.

Needless to say, she's not happy.

Dad went to the doctors yesterday, as he can hardly walk. Apparantly it is due to his hip joint, but they have so far been unable to establish the cause.

Mum took him back today, as there had been a 2 week wait for an x-ray. He can hardly move, and is in a lot of pain, so they thought that it was worth a shot at jumping the queue.

At this moment, they are at the hospital, getting the x-ray.

I hope it turns out to be nothing serious.

Wait, go back a bit! - Onward ho!

E 's hugs
