It turns out that a bolt cover on a back wheel was loose, so the rattling noise has gone for the time being.
I have been digging up plants all day, in the sunny/windy/rainy weather. The wind was pretty constant, which made life difficult.
And now my hands feel like sandpaper.
L and N came over earlier, so I sat and read a whole book on how to bonsai everything under the sun (excluding livestock and relatives). I now feel the urge to bonsai a garden shrub, but will leave that for another day.
