The suspense, the waiting, the hoping...
It has been too long. I should have heard something by now. It looks as though I have to be the one to make the next move.
Again.
Has something happened? Some horrible family tragedy I am not aware of?
Maybe I have pushed my luck too far.
Where does she want me to go from here?
Does she actually want me to do anything at all?
Maybe the silence is a rejection.
Not many people get a second chance. Have I blown mine?
