Easter came, Easter went. Work, eat, sleep, recover.
Even the boy got in touch to say I was too quiet and he was worried.
Today, I stood outside in the first sunshine I had seen in months. I closed my eyes, listened to the birdsong and took in a deep breath. I finally remembered why I was at peace in the countryside.
Today was such a lovely break from it all. A reminder of what I love and why I refuse to lose it.
