The pain it may just lessen
With the passing of the years,
But the miss sometimes gets greater
And this you musn't fear.
For after the tears have subsided,
And life carries on more or less,
You have to accept that the times that you shared
Were probably some of the best.
And that you should miss these moments is right, although it pains,
Try to keep on looking forwards - life goes on, though never quite the same.
